Hammock STANDS
|
|
You can find a suitable stand for
each of our hammocks, either compact, space-saving , extravagant or universal. All our
stands are easily assembled and dismantled, ideal for winter storage and come with clear and detailed instructions for use,
we recommend all wooden stands should be treated at least once a year (preferably every 3 months) with a preservative wood
oil, such as teak or tong oil. These are readily available at DIY stores or garden centres and the process takes about
10-15 minutes to brush on.
For storage,
all our stands condense into a suprisingly small size.
To prolong
the life of your stand we recommend that it is dismantled and stored indoors during the winter months and in the case of wooden
stands treated regularly (see above).
All
our stands are covered by a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

| Bambi Stand |
|
The special cradle stand for especially sweet little
darlings: the baby hammock Panda fits perfectly into the Bambi stand and this combination
sets an attractive accent in any child's room. The hammock/crib rocks baby gently and safely during each nap.

This stylish Bambi frame can be used with our
Bambi and Panda hammocks and is made from wood. Measuring 70 cms x 75 cms and 125 cms high it can support a
child up to approx 9 months.
The frame is made in Germany to exacting standards. The
hammock can be suspended directly to the Bambi frame.
The frame will be delivered in a 4 kgs package
and will require assembly which should take two people no longer than 10 minutes with the use of basic tools (tools are
not supplied).

The Sumo Silver stand is the little brother of the Vario-Gala and is a new product for 2007.
The stand is powder coated which provides a durable, high-quality attractive finish which is rust resistant, looks
great and is scratch resistant. The adjustable length makes it suitable for all of our single hammocks and
our shorter double hammocks, ie. Rumba and Mauritius.
It has an adjustable length feature, and at it's longest
setting, measures 330cm, and stands 110cm high.
It packs away to a small size when not in use, and is easy to assemble,
no tools are required. The powder coating makes it completely weatherproof.

Measuring 270-330 cms x 105 cms and 110cms high it can support 1 large or 2 small adults.
The frame is made in Germany to exacting standards.
As the length is adjustable the hammock can be suspended directly to the Sumo frame.
The frame will be delivered in a 19 kgs package
and will require assembly which should take two people no longer than 15 minutes. Tools are not required.

The Apollo hammock stand is a light weight stand, it is easy to set up, looks fantastic and will last
for many years.
The wood is dipped in a protective liquid which impregnates the wood making it weatherproof, robust and very
stable. All the metal parts are galvanised so they too are weather resistant.
It has an adjustable chain fitting system, which enables it to adjust to different length hammocks.
Leave it out year round it will go a silvery grey, or, if you wish, buff the wood up with teak oil to bring the colour
back and give it more lustre. Alternatively the Apollo is easily dismantled and stored for the winter.
