Ipanema is
the name of one of the most wonderful golden beaches in Rio de Janeiro and thus exactly the right name for our Brazilian hammock
artwork. The bright golden yellow thread is woven using elaborate jacquard technique, giving Ipanema a very exclusive look
and, at the same time, a soft touch.
Jacquard is a weaving technique that requires an very special loom which results in, not only a very attractive
looking hammock but a softer and more comfortable feel.
In addition there is an especially beautiful decorative hem, called Veranda, which is a must for luxury hammocks
in Brazil. In order to perfect the appearance of Ipanema, the hammock material is finished by hand with macramé.

The Princess of the hammocks, aren't just for the
garden, this one looks just as stunning in the conservatory
or across the veranda as in the garden on a sunny day in the dappled shade of some leafy trees. Finished with an ornate deep

The Ipanema hammock can be suspended from a stand
or any two fixed points, such as two trees, a building and a tree or our Madera tripod stand and tree or wall.
With this Ipanema model we recommend either the Sumo,
Vario-Gala, Madera or Apollo stand (as shown above). To select the stand of your choice click in the options section

Alternatively to suspend the hammock between two fixed
points we would recommend you buy 2 of our adjustable weatherproof SmartRopes with snap hooks.
If you require one end of the hammock to be connected
to a building you will require an Easy-Plus fitting which is a wall mounted bracket with a snap hook supplied with screws
and rawlplugs.
If the hammock is suspended on a stand and left
outside you may wish to consider a weatherproof hammock sock which is simply slipped over the hammock. The sock is blue. All
