Hammocks as big as French beds! To achieve perfect appearance and stability we use the finest hardwood from Brazil for the spreading bars. We have worked a solid centre into the hanging chords, so that despite rubbing on the (naturally deburring) eyelets, nothing can rip.

Cotton Feel - UV & Water Resistant

This Mauritius hammock is made from "Elltex", a "special cotton-feel polyester", which is weatherproof and resistant to fading under UV light and really does feel like cotton. The Mauritius stands up to even the most extreme weather conditions.

The Mauritius hammock can be suspended from any two fixed points such as two trees, a building and a tree or a specially designed stand such as the Athena, Olympic, Vario-Gala or the Sumo(as shown above). Alternatively to suspend the hammock between two fixed points we would recommend you buy 2 of our adjustable weatherproof smartRopes with snap hooks.

If you require one end of the hammock to be connected to a building you will require an Easy-Plus fitting which is a wall mounted bracket with a snap hook supplied with screws and rawlplugs.

If you have just one fixed point, we recommend any of the 4 stands mentioned above.
