ALLEGRA
Mexican net hammocks are carefully woven by hand from tens of thousands
of looped stitches, which is why they are so tight and flexible. The countless cotton threads make these nets unbelievably
stable as an entity. They pack down small, but as a hammock they are giant-sized and expandable, so it is possible to lie
in them at virtually any angle.
It is not possible to state the lying surface exactly because they
vary upto a 4 metre span. The rule of thumb is : the greater the weight, the more stitches, the bigger and more stable
the hammock.

The glowing colour patterns of the knotted Mexican hammocks are traditionally
varied, making each on a unique item. The heavier the hammock, the more looped stitches it contains and the greater the area
that can be suspended.

The Allegra hammock can be suspended from a stand
or any two fixed points such as two trees, a building and a tree etc.
With this Allegra model we recommend either the Arcus,
Emperor, Empress or Vario-Gala stand. To select the stand of your choice click in the options section below or for

Alternatively to suspend the hammock between two fixed
points we would recommend you buy 2 of our adjustable weatherproof SmartRopes with snap hooks.
If you require one end of the hammock to be connected
to a building you will require an Easy-Plus fitting which is a wall mounted bracket with a snap hook supplied with screws
and rawlplugs.
If you have just one fixed point, we recommend any
of the 4 stands mentioned above.
If the hammock is suspended on a stand and left
outside you may wish to consider a weatherproof hammock sock which is simply slipped over the hammock. The sock is blue. All
the options can be selected in the options section below.
